It's the wonderful chaotic order found in plants and flowers that inspire my work. Aliveness, structure, simplicity, abundance.... it's all there striking its own high note.
I paint until I feel moved by something outside myself where the color, composition and the whole coalesce to match what's in my mind's eye.
For the past 15 years I have lived on a dead end road surrounded by rich farmland and a river slough. The light and landscape being a constant delight.
Currently, I am enjoying drawing on mulberry paper that I affix to cradled birch panels as well as making large acrylic on canvas paintings.
