My creativity is fed by the rich landscape of the Skagit Valley where I live, its unique light, waterways and skies being a constant source of inspiration.  Whether painting a simple dandelion or the light on the horizon at dusk, my goal is the same, to convey the essence of this feeling through color and form. My work includes photos, drawings and large abstract paintings.

There is so much poetry in the natural world.  This is where I find joy.  On my walk this morning a carpet of maple leaves, the ever-changing sky, a woodpecker drumming away for food.  What an honor to be alive, I want to make the most of it and express my gratitude for all this beauty.
